Light

Light always approaches at 670 million mph. Always.

Let's say that you are in a car travelling 50 miles an hour and you are chasing a car travelling 25 miles an hour. How fast would you be approaching it? 25 miles an hour.
Let's say now that that same car turned around and is now travelling towards you. How fast is it approaching you? 75 miles an hour.

Okay, lets look at light. Lets say you are in a spaceship travelling away from light at 200 million mph. We know that light always travels at 670 million miles an hour, so how fast would it be approaching you? 470 million mph, right? Wrong. It still approaches at 670 million mph.
Let's say that now you are travelling towards the light at 200 million mph. How fast is the light approaching you now? 870 millioin mph right? Wrong again.

Light doesn't follow the same patterns that every other physical being in the universe follows. It is still a mystery to scientists who have no idea how it works or why it works. I think that light is God.
